Our love story began in 2018 on New Year's Eve. After exchanging phone numbers and Robert texting the wrong person, I decided to text him, "why have't you texted me?" and he so lawyerly responded with, "I did hours ago" and sent a screenshot verifying. A week later we went to Sakura in Germantown, TN and had sushi with a few cocktails. After ordering so much sushi and Robert eating none of it, just the edamame, he admits he doesn't like sushi, but wanted to take me to my favorite place for our first date. He also took an Uber to the restaurant. We have now spent the last five years together traveling to some of our new favorite places, slowly remodeling our home, and loving on our sweet boy, Frances.

Robert and I have always talked about how charming Charleston is would love to visit and create long lasting memories there. When deciding on where we wanted to get married at, we knew it had to be meaningful, a place where our families could easily join us, has divine cuisine, and culture. We are so excited and thrilled to celebrate our love with all of our favorite people in Charleston!
